Harden Furniture in The White House

The Roosevelt Room of the White House is the new home for one of Harden's custom conference tables. The 18-foot long conference table is constructed of solid Adirondack cherry and was special finish-matched to the White House's detailed specifications.

The Roosevelt Room serves as a daily meeting room for the President and the Cabinet as well as a room for multimedia presentations. Situated across from the Oval Office, it often serves as a staging area for delegations preparing to meet the President. The room is approximately 25 feet wide and 35 feet long, which allows the custom conference table to fit perfectly within that space.

In addition to the new Roosevelt Room conference table, members of both houses of Congress sit in Harden chairs when they meet in caucus rooms in the Capital – same for visitors, as the identical chairs are in the East Wing of the White House and in the Capital Visitors Center.
